Ok. I will say only this one thing on the last Harry Potter book.

Best. Book. Ever! (uhm, clarification: of this series)

I agree wholeheartedly. This book, out of them all, is simply the best. I was amazed by the scope and the detail and the sheer veracity of things. Who has perfect friends who never falter? And it teaches such wonderfully adult ideas for a "children's" book. It doesn't pull any punches; that was incredibly brave of JKR to put it out there with no apology that people are fallible, and good isn't always so well-defined. I wasn't crazy about the epilogue, but even that had a tiny gem tucked into that too-tidy ending. I think after so much turmoil, something everyone expected had to panne out.

*nods* I agree. I think it was awesome, and though I was very saddened by quite a few things that transpired, and angered about others.... I loved every minute of it. Except for the parts where I just had to look at Dustin and tell him to "shut up!" (he'd predicted some of it correctly, and ...well...I think you can guess where I'm going lol)

I agree! It will definitely be one of my all time favorites. I just finished the last book today (after having gotten it Saturday night around 8pm), and I thought it did a nice job of wrapping things up. Some thought provoking parts, some sad parts, some "yea you got what's coming to you" parts, all in all it's a satisfying end to an awesome series. The only negative thing I can think of is it's almost too neatly tied together at the end, but then again, it IS supposed to be a children's book! ^_^

Heh ^_^. I loved the neat ending, to be quite honest. The only thing I'd have liked better, would have been to hear more about the others, not just...well you know (gosh it's hard trying to not give out spoilers!)
