Computer and cat don't mix -_-

Today's been an up/down kind of day. First it started off on a not so good note. Had a...discussion... about money and the future and all that stuff. Got it mostly cleared up (I think). I had made an appointment for information tomorrow for first time buyer program, but ended up canceling it because of said discussion. Until we get on a more even line, there's no point to doing it. Eventhough I still think we'd be better off looking into things now and getting a head start on what we need to do in order to get to a place where we can seriously look into getting our own place. Even if it is a small one and not the place we woudl want to live the rest of our lives (that we wouldn't be able to do for another decade... or two, or three).
Oh well, we'll get there eventually.
Then, the day went on, not looking better. We hadn't been told something that turns out is quite important, so we went to the bank. keld_shade didn't want to bother, because they weren't going to help us out anyway, but I insisted and persevered!!! They actually reversed half the fees, go me! keld_shade,needless to say, was stunned. So yeah, things turned around after that. Which is a good thing, trust me lol.
When we got home I went back to my x-stitching, and actually finished the part I'd meant to finish yesterday. Didn't get much farther then that though, as it's Wednesday today and I had to go to G.O.L.F. and stuff. But that's ok. I already know I won't make my goal of getting it done this month, and it's cool. I'm still going to finish it next month and get a good start on the sourcerers apprentice. I'll be honest though, I can't wait to see the end result of what I'm doing now. I'm so going to make a pillow out of it.

Oh, I almost forgot, while keld_shade was still at work, I finally went ahead and gutted the closet and re-arranged everything in there. It is amazing how different and un-cluttered it looks now! I just hope I can keep it that way (and that keld_shade will keep it that way too ^_~). Feels good to finally get it done though. How long ago did I say I was going to do it? But, it's one of the few things I've procrastinated on this year, so far anyway. So it's ok. I'm pretty impressed though, at how I've been able to keep at the things I've said I'd do this year. For the most part anyway. I've been writing in here every single day, no matter how much or how little I had to say. I've been doing the dishes just about every time there were any made dirty (safe a few times, but mainly those were times that I'd asked keld_shade to do them for me, so it still counts), I've kept the livingroom in reasonable standing order.... so yeah, I'm pleased, not to mention proud. I've also been praying more, which was also something I'd said I'd do. I think that's all the resolutions I made this year, other then cleaning out the closet and re-organizing. Oh, how could I forget... get financially in better order and get papers and stuff organized (which we may be getting help with, so...). Yeah, I believe that's it. So all in all, not bad. Not bad at all.

Ok, Pippin's just starting to bug me a bit too much. He's messing with the mouse and almost made me lose this post twice, so I'm quitting while I'm ahead (and still have a post left to enter!). Night all
