another gorgeous day
Mar. 15th, 2004 07:34 pmGosh, can you believe this weather! It's awesome!!! I love it ^_^
My back was so-so most of the day, though I apparently fell asleep wrong while Dustin was at work (I was trying to watch something on TV, the 1 channel we still have lol) and when I tried to get up to get the phone, I could barely manage to stand up and hold myself up. My back insisted on buckling, which was very painful and not at all fun. I went and picked him up from work and was unable to get out of the car. Luckily for me Ember, his manager, had seen me drive up, so he came out of his own accord. Small blessings, right ^_~
After a few hours of rest, ice and excercises it felt better again, though incredibly stiff. We decided to try a walk, but not as long of a one as we'd initially planned. During our walk this little mop of a dog came running up to us and almost climbed up our legs in exitement. We'd never seen it before. Its owner called her and she went running to her and the owner scolded her, saying not everyone liked dogs running at them. At which she promtly turned around and ran to us again, intent on demanding attention from us lol. It was soooo adorably cute. We stopped and petted her for a while. She's smaller then Arwen is and just very friendly and wanting attentions.
After that little interval we went home, as my back objected to the break.
Dustin got the books he ordered today, which is cool. Not to mention excellent timing as I just finished the one I was reading earlier. Which reminds me, I need to update my messageboard with the books I've read.
I'm trying to think of what else to write, but can't think of anything at the moment, partly because my back's beginning to be a pain again *sigh* Some day....
Oh yeah, I almost forget...
Do any of you still see the beauty around you? Everytime I look out here I'm struck by the beauty around me, the mountains, the trees, the sky even. Dustin admits to it being a daily thing for him, or "same old shit, different day" as he calls it. I've been here a little over 2 years now, and I'm still in awe, am still inspired by it all. I'm just wondering if anyone else still sees it as well, or if they're more going along like Dustin is.
*sighs happily* Thank you God for the beauty that surrounds us. For painting the most beautiful sunrises.
