Wow, I don't know what came over me today, but I've been full of energy and in good spirits all day long. Well, at least in good spirits all day long, seeing I fell asleep for 3 hours or so earlier *blinks*. Didn't mean to, just fell asleep while watching El Dorado. Oh well....
Anyway, first on the route I was more active than usual and pirky. Yes, I was pirky. Then when we came home, Dustin went back to bed and I went online to check email and stuff, talked to grandpa a bit and then I went off the computer. I actually picked up the livingroom, did all the dishes, took out the trash, cleaned the litterbox and made breakfast! And my back wasn't complaining and I still had oodles of energy!
Oh, on a side note, after we'd done the route we drove over to [livejournal.com profile] elfie_chan and Alex's place and dropped off her birthday present and the card we made, as well as a paper so she'd have the funny's to read on her birthday. We got her some home-made soaps and the card Dustin and I made last night. She ICQ'ed me later to say she'd gotten it, and from what I gathered, she liked both, so that's good ^_^

Anywho.... The money we'd been waiting on finally showed up in our account, and the timing couldn't have been better for it. Trust me when I say that there were a few "Thank you, God!"'s this morning when I checked it. So we were able to get the car filled with gas (always a good thing when driving around for jobs) and also get some food. And stock up on chocolate, I know it doesn't seem like a must, but I hold with the fact that it's what's been keeping my sane (to an extent) this last week. We went and checked back with PC Market of Choice, but they said they'd made all the call backs they were going to, so I guess that means he didn't get it *sighs*. He really wanted that job, and I wanted it for him. He checked back anyway and they said they'd get back to him, so maybe there's still hope. It seemed like the person in charge of the bakery was surprised he'd not been called back.

*sighs* Uhm..what else...Rusty (Dustin's cousin) came and took him to the place he works. It's a mill I think. He suggested Dustin get there to sign in every day if possible, so they'd know he was interested. It's all the way at Highway 99 however, so it's not exactly close by, and there's no guarentee of a job at the end of it. Means a lot of gas money and time, but we have to do it. Probably won't go every day though, that would be too much for our pocketbook. Maybe every other day I think. Hopefully it'll pay off. Keep praying for us...

Not much else has happened I don't think. Well...I suppose I'll wrap this up then and continue the conversation I'm having with a friend.
