You're own fault you're not making stuff, half blind or not. There's plenty of people who are unable to see what they're doing, that still knit things anyway (remember the lady from the Goodmorning with Ann and Nick show?) :P
The sweater I have is dryclean only, but I've got something that'll let me clean it in the dryer instead. Works like a charm. The other wool sweaters I had, Dustin unfortunately ruined when he did the laundry last time *sigh*. They're now half felted and 2 sizes too small for me
